Adagio Health Opens New Uniontown Health Hub to Expand Comprehensive Care Services in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA (Sept. 3, 2024) – Adagio Health is proud to announce the opening of its newly renovated Uniontown Health Hub, located at Two Highland Park Road, the former site of Cherry Tree Pediatrics. This innovative medical and wellness center is designed to significantly expand our capacity to provide comprehensive, inclusive healthcare services to the Uniontown community and beyond.

For more than fifty years, Adagio Health has been dedicated to delivering health, wellness, and nutrition services across western Pennsylvania. In the Laurel Highlands region, we’ve served residents for over 47 years from our Uniontown medical office, providing vital care to women, men, teens, and diverse populations, including women veterans, immigrants, foreign workers, uninsured or under-insured patients, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Uniontown Health Hub will provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Reproductive Health Care: Offering low or no-cost services, including gynecological care, pap tests, infectious disease screening and treatment, contraceptive counseling, and more.
  • Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening: Providing screenings and referrals for mammograms and other diagnostic and treatment services at no cost to eligible patients.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Specialized care for patients, including women veterans, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience.
  • HIV Testing, Treatment, and Preventive Care: Including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) services.
  • Diabetes Prevention and Adult Preventive Care: Offering screenings, immunizations, and support for managing chronic conditions.
  • Behavioral Health Services: Including “SBIRT” – screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment for substance use disorders and mental health issues, along with longer-term counseling and therapy.
  • Care Navigation: Assistance with health insurance, food insecurity, housing, crisis services, and more.
  • Nutrition Education and Food Support: Access to nutrition education programs, nutrition counseling, and an on-site food cupboard for those in urgent need.
