Well Woman
Care & Community
Reproductive care goes hand-in-hand with adult wellness screenings, prevention, and education.

Through the Healthy Women for Life Program, Adagio Health and our partners are providing no-cost preventative health screenings.
Screenings offered may include blood pressure checks, lipid profile (Heart health/cholesterol), A1C (diabetes), STI testing, pregnancy testing, and a comprehensive metabolic panel. These wellness screenings are extremely important in protecting your health, especially when heart disease is a leading cause of death in women and 1 in every 9 adult woman is affected by diabetes.
You can access these screenings by making an appointment at any of our project sites, some offices may accept walk-ins but it’s best to call ahead to confirm availability. You can also stop by one of our special community health clinics, check below to find the next public health screening event in your area.

Menopause Basics
Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years, typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55. It is officially diagnosed after 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. During this transition, women experience hormonal changes, particularly a decrease in estrogen and progesterone levels, which can lead to a variety of symptoms.
While menopause is a normal part of aging, understanding and managing its symptoms through lifestyle changes, proper nutrition, exercise, and sometimes medical treatment can help improve quality of life during this phase. Educating women about menopause empowers them to make informed decisions and embrace this life stage with confidence.
