Yahoo! News: Local nonprofit among 3 PA organizations to receive federal funding for maternal health

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) — A Midstate nonprofit was among three Pennsylvania organizations that received federal funding eclipsing $1 million in support of maternal health.

Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania, located in Camp Hill, was awarded $499,465 as part of the grants, the most in the state, helping “pregnant and postpartum Pennsylvanians and their families access fruits and vegetables through produce prescriptions or vouchers and nutrition education.”

The other Pennsylvania organizations that received funding were Adagio Health in Pittsburgh ($422,318) and Coco Life in Philadelphia ($189,748).
