Adagio Health is expanding into Westmoreland County with a standalone medical office.
The Pittsburgh-based nonprofit is opening at 660 Pellis Road in Greensburg. It’s the first time that Adagio Health has been in Westmoreland County with a standalone medical office.
“We are thrilled to be joining the Westmoreland County community of health and wellness care providers,” said BJ Leber, president and CEO of Adagio Health. “We serve a diverse group of patients and clients at our eight other western Pennsylvania medical offices and on our Mobile Health Unit, and we are continually working to align our services with the needs of local communities.”
Adagio will offer women’s health services and reproductive care, screening for breast and cervical cancer, birth control and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections. It will also have reproductive care for men along with screenings for other diseases and adult immunizations against Covid-19, flu, and other communicable diseases.
There will also be a food pantry that will provide patients who are experiencing food insecurity with access to fresh food and other items.
The official grand opening will be in the spring but Stacy Lemmon, who is a practitioner at Adagio Health Indiana, will be seeing patients beginning this week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
