New partnership giving West Virginians increased access to healthcare
(WTRF) – Women and men in seven West Virginia counties will now have increased access to health care.
Adagio Health Care has expanded its services by partnering with Clay Battelle Health Services and Cornerstone Care Community Health Services.
Those West Virginia counties getting increased access will be Brooke, Ohio, Hancock, Marshall, Wetzel, Monongalia and Preston.
Officials said it’s a safe place to turn, even for people without insurance and it offers a wide range of services
“Gynecological care, birth control, family planning, breast and cervical cancer screening, identification and treatment of common sexually transmitted illnesses both to women and men,” explained B.J. Leber, President and CEO of Adagio Health. “We really work hard to make sure that the atmosphere is confidential if you need it, non-judgmental, warm, caring, comfortable.”
“Clay Battelle Health Services Association is a federally qualified health center that provides family medical, behavioral health and dental services without ability to pay and we are pleased to partner with Adagio Health that offers the same for low or no cost to the patients that come in,” added Rebecca Thomas, CEO of Clay Battelle Health Services.
