Leader Times: ACAAA partners with Adagio Health for senior cooking classes, offers thanks to partner entity

The Armstrong County Area Agency on Aging extends its sincere appreciation to Adagio Health for securing a grant that recently brought interactive, hands-on cooking classes to local senior centers throughout Armstrong County.

The successful initiative was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Marla Breitbarth and Kristine Steffee, who managed the funding acquisition, created promotional materials, and coordinated the logistics for the project.

The educational sessions were delivered in person at each center by instructors Gina Coulson and Gabreilla Spinelli.

During the workshops, participants learned essential knife safety techniques and how to prepare a fresh, homemade Greek salad.

Adagio Health provided all necessary culinary equipment for the classes.
