Adagio Health Hosts Mobile Health Celebration Days

Knox, PA (August 20, 2021) – Adagio Health will hold a series of “Mobile Health Celebration Days” throughout the month of August in northwestern PA. On August 24, the celebration will take place in Knox, PA Sharp Shopper located at 100 Knox Rd. from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The occasion will be marked with games, prizes and giveaways – and select health care services will be available all day long at NO COST for patients who qualify. Among the patients who can receive services at no cost: women and men who have no health insurance or who are underinsured, and who are in need of reproductive health services. COVID-19 vaccines are also available at no cost. Additional services that are available with insurance or at low cost include adult immunizations and screenings for diabetes and cholesterol. All services are completely confidential and provided by friendly, down-to-earth health care experts.

Adagio Health Mobile Unit Nurse Practitioner Gretchen Wolbert has extensive clinical experience in women’s health, and spent many years as both a CRNP and an RN providing needed services to students at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Women, men and teens are eligible to receive services through Adagio Health Mobile Health. Services are confidential, and patients can expect to receive excellent care in a comfortable, welcoming setting. Special safety protocols are in place to keep patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adagio Health’s Mobile Health Unit is a 36-foot long vehicle equipped with a reception area, exam room, lab, and restroom. In additional to a modern and comfortable exam room, Adagio Health’s Mobile Unit offers an on-board lab for blood draws and screenings, and the entire vehicle is ADA compliant. A lift system for mobility assistance is available.

Available services include: Family planning and reproductive health care, annual exams, birth control (dispensed on-site), breast and cervical cancer screening, natural family planning, pregnancy testing, STD testing and treatment, HIV testing, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis to protect against HIV), infertility services, COVID-19 vaccines, flu shots (fall), basic health screenings such as cholesterol and high blood pressure, adult immunizations, and more. Reproductive health services are available at NO COST for patients who qualify.
