CAPP Community Programs Assistant

75% time (30 hours per week)

Reports to:
CAPP Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and schedules presentations for adolescents in assigned schools and organizations.

  • Facilitates and schedules parent workshops.

  • Establishes new contacts in the community.

  • Assists the supervisor in coordinating special projects and activities.

  • Maintains favorable program image in the community.

  • Attends all scheduled presentations and meetings.

  • Performs outreach/promotional activities.

  • Completes and submits all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Maintains inventory of all presentation literature, props & equipment.

  • Provides training for Jr. Peer Educators and new hires.

  • Co-facilitates joint-site trainings.

  • Reports staff issues or concerns to supervisor.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be capable of articulating reproductive education to large groups. Must be able to relate to and be accepted by pre-teens, teens and adults from diverse backgrounds. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

Salary: $8.65/hour
