40% time (16 hours per week)
Reports to:
Power Up Project Manager
Responsibilities:

Assists with the development and delivery of nutrition education programs, food fairs, program newsletters, web pages and other initiatives related to the Power Up Program.

Supports and encourages communication between program staff, academic, support and food service staff of the Power Up schools, the parents and/or guardians of the school district’s students as well as the students.

Provides hands-on nutrition education to elementary students in Power Up schools.

Distributes nutrition education materials to classrooms. Assists teachers with program documentation and collects documentation from the teachers each month.

Provides high quality customer service and marketing interventions and coordinates these activities with other Adagio Health initiatives as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide nutrition education programming. Experience in children’s nutrition education in a school setting and in public health are desirable. Travel required.
Salary: $8.92 (hourly)
